It could be either a printer issue or the iSeries. You would have to provide a copy of the iSeries device configuration for me to really tell. But if you want to check the iSeries side, look at these portions of the device description:
Separator drawer . . . . . . . . . : SEPDRAWER *FILE
Separator program . . . . . . . . : SEPPGM *NONE
If these are set to default values (as shown above), then the separator pages are coming from a printer setting, not the iSeries.
