QUESTION POSED ON: 20 March 2008
SETOBJACC can load a whole file to memory. If the system ends abnormally, what happens to the changed pages that have not been written to disk? Is it possible the changed data are lost?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
The SETOBJACC command only loads data into memory. It does not prevent changed data pages from being written to disk. That processing would be performed the same regardless of the SETOBJACC command being run
