QUESTION POSED ON: 27 March 2008
I have a HP 4050 at a remote location configured as a *LAN printer. It never seems to print the complete report if it is more than 200 pages. Is there a way to fix this?

EXPERT RESPONSE
You are probably running into some kind of time-out or printer contention issue. Since this is a remote *LAN printer, is it also used on a Windows network? If so, then it's really critical that the printer *DEVD uses the proper values for port #, etc. In most cases this should be 9100, but it's best to check IBM's reference website for verification.
